Lotus is finalist in competition

-

SLIGO company LotusWorks has been shortlisted as finalists for the IrishJobs.ie €40,000 Payback Competition. The winning company will be announced early in December 2017.

The IrishJobs.ie PayBack Competition is offering a €40,000 cash payment to one IrishJobs.ie customer to grow or improve any aspect of their business, like a salary for a new hire, an office or shop refurbishment, or an advertising campaign.

The other finalists include Carroll Joinery, Jones Engineering Group, and Wallace Myers International, all from Dublin; Solvotrin Therapeutics and Crest Solutions from Cork; Siteminder and Synecco from Galway and Trusource Labs from Limerick.

The winning entry will be selected by a judging panel consisting of Gavin McLoughlin, business correspondent with the Sunday Independent, Jane Lorigan, European CEO of saongroup.com, and Safann Mac Carthy, European Marketing Director of saongroup.com.

The criterion for the competition was simple: companies were asked to tell IrishJobs.ie about a recent hire they made through the site and what it has meant for their business.

Commenting, Orla Moran, IrishJobs.ie General Manager, said: “For most companies, a prize of €40,000 is substantial. It could mean taking on an experienced new hire, purchasing a new vehicle, or giving the office a complete overhaul.

“While good things in their own right, these kinds of investments lead to many other longterm benefits, like improved productivity, new customers, better service and ultimately, more revenue. The calibre of the entries was high, and we wish LotusWorks the very best of luck.”
