‘Lillies’ bar reopens with original vintage vibe intact

-

A popular cocktail bar in Sligo town made its comeback last weekend under new management, less than two months after its recent closure.

‘Lillies’, on the corner of Bridge Street and Stephen Street reopened on Friday night with its original vintage vibe still intact. The bar’s new owners are Sean Brown and Blaine Gaffney from Sligo.

Speaking about the reopening, Blaine said: “What we wanted to do here with ‘Lilies’ was to simply to go back to basics and offer the people of Sligo a warm, cosy environment to enjoy a drink with their friends and family. We have taken the time to hire friendly staff who know just how to serve the premium drinks and the original ‘Lillies’ cocktails that we have selected to sell”. The bar has undergone some minor alterations to improve the experience and vibe. Sean said: “We are bringing ‘Lillies’ back to being the go to, live music venue which will see live artists playing from Thursday until Sunday. We are also hoping to introduce some new and exciting ideas to the entertainment scene in Sligo as we go forward, so stay tuned for more information on that”.
