ST JOHN’S

THE St Johns AGM was held on SUNDAY night in The Riverside Hotel. A full report will appear in next week’s notes. OUR 30 year celebration book is on sale in local shops and from club members.

The book is full of interesting articles from club members and local celebrities and tells the story of our club since it was founded in The Carraroe Social Centre in 1987.

It tells stories of the joys and sorrows, the wins and losses of our club teams over those years and the effects they have had on the players and those involved with the teams.

It is a great publication and it would make an ideal Christmas present for somebody at home or abroad. On St Stephen’s Day in Stenson Park a novel game will take place when the St Johns Homeboys will take on the St Johns Emigrants.

This will be a great way to meet up with old mates and have a great days fun as a player or a supporter. So keep an eye on the St John’s Facebook page for updates.

In early January St Johns plan an exciting new health venture which will help the whole community, young and old, get back in shape after the excesses of the Christmas season.

So keep an eye on these notes for further information.
