CHRISTMAS FLORAL WORKSHOP
As Triona Sheerin Warnock’s workshop for fresh floral arrangements at the Benwiskin Centre Hostel is now full for 7 th December, Triona will run the same workshop for a 2nd night on 14 th December.
To reserve your place, you must book directly through the Benwiskin Centre by calling 071 9176721.
Full numbers are required for this 2nd class to proceed so if you are interested in attending it, please get in touch.
During this workshop, you will make a fresh floral arrangement. This workshop will be totally hands on and you take home what you make!
You will need to bring the following supplies with you:
• Half block green oasis
• Mixed bag foliage
• Large platter plate in Christmas colour
• 2 chrysanthemum stems
• 10 roses (Lidl)
• Cones
(Sundries available at BMG Hardware & DIY, Bundoran)
Fee: €7 (includes refreshments and entry into a raffle for Triona’s arrangement that she will make on the night).

KIERAN QUINN THEME NIGHT
Following the huge success of Kieran Quinn’s theme nights, the Hawk’s Well is delighted to host two very special Elvis at Christmas theme nights.
An all-star cast of local musicians and singers, led by musical maestro Kieran Quinn will kick-start the holiday season with the King of rock n roll’s best-loved Christmas songs for what promises to be a spectacular yuletide performance!
The hugely successful theme nights have been filled to the rafters on previous occasions so early booking is advised.
The event takes place at the Hawk’s Well Theatre on Wednesday 20 th and Thursday 21st of December.

Time to come in from the cold and gather round at the Hawk’s Well on January 10 th as four leading lights of Irish trad join forces in what promises to be an unforgettable tour. At the forefront of the Irish music scene for over 25 years, the’ve performed in every corner of the globe. Leading the charge is Arcady’s Niamh Parsons, a peerless balladeer with one of the most distinctive voices in Irish music. Donegal fiddle maestro and longtime member of Altan, Ciarán Tourish is fêted for his incendiary improvisation and cascading arpeggios, providing the perfect foil for the invention and rhythmic drive of flautist Liam Kelly. A founder member of Dervish, Kelly is equally at home trading riffs with James Brown, The Buena Vista Social Club or Sting. Add to the mixJohn Doyle’s signature guitar sound, heard on recordings by Solas, Joan Baez, Usher’s Island, Linda Thompson and TimBrien among others, and you’ ll find no finer musical company to carry you through January with a light heart and a skip in your step.

On Friday, December 8th, The 4 of Us come to The Glens Centre, Manorhamilton, at 8.30pm.
The 4 Of Us shot to early fame towards the end of 1989 with their debut Songs for the Tempted, which featured the massive hits Mary and Drag My Bad Name Down. The follow up Man Alive made Q magazine’s prestigious Top 50 Albums of 1992 and included the UK Top 30 song She Hits Me.
‘Sugar Island’, their latest album, explores the brothers’ early years growing up in Northern Ireland; musically, it focuses on the trademark interplay of their acoustic guitars.
