Babes in the Wood
Babes in the Wood is this year’s offering from the Coolera Dramatic Society. It is 16 years since they last staged this particular Panto which has been done twice before.
The story goes something like this. ‘After the death of their father, Nurse Molly Coddle delivers Jack and Jill to the care of their uncle the Sheriff of Nottingham.
‘But the evil Sheriff plans to dispose of his niece and nephew in Sherwood Forest so that he can inherit their fortune. Can Robin Hood save the day and win the heart of Maid Marian? Together with his trusted Merry Men, Robin sets out on his biggest adventure so far.’
The show is jam packed with slapstick jokes, choreographed routines, amazing music, stunning costumes and spectacular sets.
The Panto runs until this Saturday 16 th December.
