LECKAUN NS SHOW

The staff and pupils of Leckaun NS have great pleasure in inviting everyone in the local community and surrounding area to their Christmas show, ‘Hoodwinked’, next Tuesday, December 19, at 7 p.m. in Newtownmanor Hall. All are welcome, admission free.

25 CARD GAME

The Progressive 25 Card Game in Newtownmanor Hall continues on Friday (s) at 9 p.m., as previously. The final Card Game before the Christmas break is on Friday, December 22. There will be a two-week break over the Christmas period. All card players are welcome and we look forward to new members coming along.

HALL BOOKINGS

Newtownmanor Hall is available for booking, by adult groups, wishing to organise an event or training. Hall costs are €15 per hour.

TOTALHEATH PRESENTATION

Riverstown Pharmacy would like to thank everyone who came along to their recent grand opening. A huge crowd turned out to celebrate joining forces with Totalhealth. As a result of this and to mark the occasion they were position to present local groups; Geevagh GAA, Shamrock Gaels, Arrow Harps and Riverstown Community Games with a Sports First-Aid kit each.

COMMUNITY ALERT

Riverstown Community Alert wish to inform persons regarding the Pendant, eligible persons (over 65 years) may apply, application forms available in the Garda Station, the only criteria is to have a land line telephone.

The Pendant is grant funded, as it costs approx. €270 and the Government are now paying the first year monitoring cost of €60 for each applicant (Free installation and first year monitoring service free, thereafter €60 fee per annum).
