The Geevagh Community Resource lotto draw was held in Killoran’s Bar on Saturday, December, second for a jackpot of €10,100. The numbers drawn were 2, 7, 9 and 19. There was no winner. The next draw for a jackpot of €10,200 will be held on Saturday, December 9, in Paddy’s Bar. The winners of €20 each were Séamus Lavin, Creevagh; Josie O’Reilly, Geevagh; Vera Cooney, Ballyfarno­n; Paul Conlisk, Derryngarr­y, Ballyfarno­n and Geevagh Swingers c/o Dave.

FIRST FRIENDS

First Friends Playschool host their annual Christmas Cookery Demonstrat­ion and Craft fair on Tuesday, December 12, from 7 p.m. in Geevagh Resource Centre. There will be mulled wine and spot prizes on the night. You also have a chance to pick up some presents from the Craft Stalls. We are very excited to now announce the stalls available on the night and ask you to spread the word to others, so as they can avail of the fabulous items available on the night. The following is a list of those who will be in attendance on the night;

Jammari: Fabulous Hampers, K-9 fit: Cute Pet accessorie­s, Aaron Mulvey: Firewood for those winter evenings, Pit Putty Natural Deodorants: chemical free deodorants and soaps etc., Dees baking Parties: baked goods and Christmas decoration­s, Flo: Jams chutneys and amazing infused oils, Author: Maureen Harkin with her book LOVE YOU MA, Kay Cunnane, The Draft House: Sauces and food stuffs and Gifts Vouchers, Jewellery and 3D Art stall. Tickets are €10 and are available now from the playschool or from any of the parents. Please come along and support this great night out.

WEDDING BELLS

Congratula­tions and best wishes to Róisín McTiernan and Alan Flynn, who were married recently in Ballyfarno­n Church. The happy couple celebrated afterwards with family and friends in the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone.
