CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The popular Christmas concert will take place on Saturday, December 23, in St Nathy’s Hall at 8.30 p.m. Once again, you can expect a great mixture of music, dance, drama, comedy and more from a host of talented local performers and a few guests. A great night of entertainment is promised.
SLIGO AWARD
Nace O’Dwod Park was recently awarded the best GAA club ground in Sligo for 2017. Well done to the club and hard working committee on receiving this honour.
CEILÍ
Christmas Ceili in St Nathy’s Hall Mullinabreena on Thursday, December 21, from 8.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. Admission €10. Music by Laighnaigh Ceile Band. Tea and coffee served on the night. Fundraiser for our annual Christmas party. Please support.
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION
The parents’ association of Achonry National School have decided to go ahead with the annual Clothes Collection (dates to follow), so let’s start packing those bags and pass the word on to extended family, neighbours and friends and put in a big effort.
PARISH COMMITTEE
Flower bulb planting continues to take place and all help is appreciated. This is an excellent idea and one which will provide a glorious visual enhancement at various locations and junctions around the parish next Spring. Plans are being put in place to spend the recent grant money with a decision expected in the coming weeks.
