The First Fortnight Festival takes place in Ireland in Januar y each year and in 2018 we are excited to welcome First Fortnight to Leitrim in The Glens Centre, New Line, Manorhamilton for the fir st time. THE DRUMMER & THE KEEPER tell s the stor y of the unlikely friendship formed between t wo young men; Gabriel, a reckless young drummer with bipolar disorder, who revels in rejecting societ y’s rules and Christopher, a 17 year old with Asperger’s Syndrome, who yearns to fit in. This heartwarming stor y shows the strength of the human bond in the face of adversit y.
