Kidney experts to give free public talk
ANYONE suffering with diabetes and/or kidney problems can avail of a free talk on diabetes and its links to kidney disease.
The Sligo Branch of the Irish Kidney Association is bringing three experts to speak at an information evening: Kidney specialist James Linnane, will speak on Renal disease and it’s link to diabetes. Professor Cathy McHugh from Sligo University Hospital will speak about diabetes and it’s complications and links to kidney disease, while Irish Kidney Association counsellor Mike Kelly will talk about fear and hope.
The information evening is being run in conjunction with Diabetes Ireland. It will take place in the Sligo Park Hotel Thursday 25 th January 7.30-9.30pm with refreshments served.
