Insomnia hoping to open O’Connell Street café
FORMER Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Bobby Kerr is seeking planning permission from Sligo County Council to open a second Insomnia coffee shop in the town - this time on O’Connell Street next door to Poppadoms restaurant.
They are hoping to convert Margaret Martin’s premises at 34 O’Connell Street from a hair salon to a 64-seat coffee shop. The deadline for submission is 5 th February and a decision is due by 26 th February 2018. The coffee chain already opened a coffee shop at the entrance to Quayside Shopping centre last year.
