SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the sons Patrick, John, Joseph and Thomas, daughters Mary, Marcella Rice, Margaret and Ann Foody on the death their father Joe McManus Enniscrone. Sympathy also to his brothers Fr Patrick (Kilnaleck) and Andy Dublin his daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews, family neighbours and friends. Removal took place on Wednesday evening, January 17, to the Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven Enniscrone and Burial took place after midday Mass on Thursday to St Patrick’s Cemetery Kilglass. May he rest in peace.

ENROLMENT NIGHT

ENNISCRONE-KILGLASS GAA

DINNER DANCE – We will have an All-Star line-up for our annual dinner dance on Saturday, February 10, in the Diamond Coast Hotel.

The club is very pleased to confirm that Hurler of the Year, Galway’s Joe Canning, and Tyrone football legend Peter Canavan will both be in attendance on the night as our special guests. The night will also involve several presentati­ons to successful teams and our usual individual awards. Tickets will be available shortly from the usual outlets.

CLUB AGM – Our AGM will take place on Friday, February 2, at 8 p.m. in the clubhouse.

BLOTTO

Billy Mitchell, Enniscrone was the lucky winner of the €14,200 jackpot when the blotto draw took place in McNulty’s Bar. Numbers drawn were 3, 4 and 19. €25 winners were Vincent McDonnell, Liam Tuffy, Declan Gilroy, Ross and Kaydy Sheridan. The next draw is on Saturday, January 20, with a jackpot of €2,000. Will be held in Sheridan’s Bar Kilglass.

ENROLMENT

Enrolment for Coláiste Iascaigh takes place on Thursday, January 25, from 7 p.m. We would like to invite parents and prospectiv­e first year students to attend and view our facilities, displays of student work, and meet with our teaching staff. Enrolling students are requested to bring with them a copy of birth certificat­e and PPS number. Principal’s address at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
