Cloonacool Players guarantee a night of ‘side-splitting laughter’

-

Cloonacool Players Drama Group will present their production of the hilarious three act comedy entitled ‘ ’Cupid Wore Skirts’’ by playwright Sam Cree, in Cloonacool Cummunity Centre on Friday 9 th, Saturday 10 th and Sunday 11 th of February next at 8pm each evening.

This is a show not to be missed, as it guarantees a night of side-splitting laughter as Andrew Coulter (played by Martin McIntyre) in trying to win a bet from his sister-in-law Aunt Harriet (played by Geraldine Lundy), gets himself tied up in knots trying to find himself a wife within a week, or lose the bet. As mayhem ensues, Andy’s problems continues to increase on an on-going basis, and his efforts to get out of his many predicaments generate many moments of utter chaos.

They say laughter is the best medicine of all, and if it could be bottled and brought home, it would cure many ailments.

So put the above dates in your diary and make this a must-see show next month in Cloonacool Cummunity Centre.

Further shows will follow in the Hawkswell Theatre Sligo, Ballina Arts Centre, Ballintogher Community Centre and St. Brigids Hall Theatre in Tubbercurry later in February.
