Champion photographer to feature on RTE weather

A photograph of a snow-filled Cloonacool taken by Sligo Champion photographer Tom Callanan is to feature on the RTE weather today (Tuesday).

Tom, from Tubbercurry, entered this photo in the Winter RTE Weather Photo competition, and finished as a runner-up.

His photo will feature on the RTE weather forecast today, with the photos taken by other runners-up and the winner also featuring over the weekend.

Popular Tom who has captured events through the lens in South Sligo for decades said he was delighted to feature on the programme.
