Good4U sign new deal with Primark

Sligo healthy snack business, Good4U has clinched a major deal with Primark to sell their brand in seven European countries.

The deal with Primark believed to be in the region of €2m will propel the Good4U brand into stores in Ireland, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany and the Netherland­s.

All of the Good4U snacks are made at their factory in Finisklin, including their new range of six Good4U Super Shots - blends of naturally sweet and savoury flavoured seeds, pulses and dried fruit without any added sugar.

Sales and Marketing Director Laura O’Sullivan (nee Butler) said they were created with children in mind: “They’re the ones who need more awareness of healthy snacks. It’s our vision to make this range for kids everywhere - there should be something healthy for kids in the queue at check-outs.”

“We are extremely proud to be the first healthy snack brand that Primark is taking Global. We have been working with Primark on this new range of healthy snacks for kids and adults for 18 months and seeing them on shelf today is truly exciting,” she said.

“We have a fantastic team onboard who have helped make the success possible and with even more new contracts on the horizon, we are expanding the team further with 10 immediate job openings,” she added.

Good4U, was founded in 2004 by Bernie Butler and her daughters Laura and Michelle and son Karol.

Besides the Super Shot range Primark will also have Good4U Energy Balls in Mint & Cocoa and Cocoa & Orange flavours.
