Sligo brigade is top for fire time reaction

SLIGO County Council had the quickest part-time brigade average mobilisation time to fires of 4.26 minutes according to a new report.

And, its mobilisation time for non-fire incidents was only six seconds slower and was also the fastest in the country.

The data is contained in the National Oversight and Audit Commission’s report for performance indicators in local authorities in 2016.
