Stole clothing from store

A 32-year-old man who stole clothing from TK Maxx was fined €100 by Judge Kevin Kilrane at Sligo District Court. Geoffrey McManus, Langan Drive was fined the sum after he admitted the offence which occurred at the Quayside Shopping Centre store on April 20 th last.

Ms Laura Spellman, solicitor (defending) pleaded that at the time the defendant was “not in a good place.”

“He’s in a much better place now and is under the supervision of the Probation Service,” said Ms Spellman.
