Local residents along the N15 at l ocal road L7123 are lobbying to have a right turning l ane installed for safet y.

Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council Councillor Seamus Kilgannon asked the Council to construct the right turning l ane in the interest of road safet y.

“The l ocals are l obbying for that. It should be possible to do it. There was an accident there early l ast year,” he said.

He was supported by Cllrs Tom MacSharr y and Hubert Keaney.
