Superstar competition in Grange sees Dunleavy win

THE North Sligo AC superstar competition was held in the Sports Centre in Grange recently.

Nicola Dunleavy was the overall winner.

A great competition ensued with 78 athletes competing in six different events in age groups from U8 to over 14.The athletes competed in 100m, 600m, shot putt, long jump,obstacle course and gym tests which comprised the superstar competition.

Nicola Dunleavy emerged as the overall superstar putting in tremendous performances in all six events.

The North Sligo AC committee would like to thank all the parents and club members who helped to run this big competition and those who brought spot prizes for the free raffle for the athletes.

They would also like to thank Lang’s restaurant for their generous sponsorship of food for the competitors at the end of the competition.
