Cloonacool GAA hosting 5k race

CLOONACOOL GAA Club’s 9th annual 5k Road Race will be taking place on Sunday 4th February. It is starting at 12pm at the Community Park. Runners, joggers and walkers are encouraged to come along and take part as individuals, or as a family unit. Registration is from 10.30 am at the clubhouse, where changing room and shower facilities will be made available throughout the course the day. Entry fees are €10 euro per adult, €5 for children and €25 for a family. Plenty of parking spaces will also be made available to cater for what will be hopefully a good turn out. Prizes include, first three men, first three women, first local man, first local woman, first secondary and first national school runner. Refreshments will be served after the prize giving ceremony. Organisers are encouraging as many people as possible to turn out, and support one of the clubs biggest fundraisers, throughout the course of the year.
