Do you need somebody to do a small job in your home? Maybe, change a light bulb, replace batteries in your smoke alarm, hang curtains, install a lock or a door chain, replace plugs and chains to sinks and baths, ironing and small household tasks, securing floor boards or carpets, move furniture, help filling out a form etc.

Sligo Lend a Hand is available in the Grange and surroundin­g areas. It is a free minor repair service in the homes of elderly and vulnerable people. No job is too small and the service uses a pool of fully vetted and trained volunteers who operate in pairs to carry out the work. All appointmen­ts will be booked in advance and volunteers will carry identifica­tion.
