LISA’S CAKE SALE

2017 Sligo Rose Lisa Maloney is holding a cake sale in aid of Chernobyl Children’s International on Sunday, February 4, in Cloonacool Community Centre after Mass (Mass starts at 10.30 a.m.).

Lisa is taking part in a volunteering trip to the Vesnova Children’s Mental Asylum in Belarus as part of the partnership between the Rose of Tralee International Festival and Chernobyl Children International to volunteer as the 2017 Sligo Rose. She will be joined by her fellow Rose Sisters and Rose Escorts.

Money raised will bring vital medical supplies and equipment to these children and young adults in the orphanage. Anyone, who would like to bake anything for the cake sale would be greatly welcomed. All support will be greatly appreciated.

5KM ROAD RACE

The ninth Cloonacool 5km road race will take place on February 4 at midday. This is a key fundraiser for Cloonacool GAA Club. This is a Fast Flat course and AAI Permitted. Starting at the Community Pitch, Cloonacool. Runners, Joggers, Walkers all welcome. Entry on the day from
