ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

The St Patrick’s Day parade committee are holding the first of four meetings on Thursday, February 8, at 9.30 p.m. in Gormley’s Corner House, with St Patrick’s Day fast approaching we are inviting business owners and members of the community to attend the meeting. The parade has been a huge success over the last number of years and we are asking for your support or help in anyway you can for this year’s event, thank you.

BAPTISED

Congratulations to the parents of Alessia Bella Cretaro, Rath- dooney Beg, who was baptised recently in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Kay Murray, Castleburn, whose death occurred recently.

HOUSE IN CUAN ÍOSA

Applications are invited from elderly people in the Ballymote area for tenancy of a house in Cuan Íosa, Ballymote. Application forms available from Maureen McGovern president, St Vincent de Paul Office, Cuan Iosa, Ballymote. Completed forms must be returned to arrive not later than 5 p.m. February 20. This will not be sheltered accomadation.

SCOIL MHUIRE GAN SMÁL

Enrolment packs are now available to collect in the school. Please return the forms in person with relevant information enclosed, birth certificate etc. Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, February 9.
