Oakfield and Kevinsfort

THE Council Roads Department has agreed to review both traffic calming measures and the condition of the road surface on the Oakfield Road over the coming months.

It’s after Councillor Rosaleen O’Grady asked for the review and the Oakfield road to be upgraded.

“I’ve never seen part of the road in such bad condition,” Cllr O’Grady said. “There are craters there, not potholes,” she said.

The Council will also carry out road surface repairs if necessary at Kevinsfort under a 3 Year multi-annual road works programme.
