Hit pedestrian

A 39-year-old woman on a number of road traffic charges after colliding with a pedestrian and hitting traffic lights on the Magheraboy Road. Mary Sweeney of Beechlawn, Magheraboy was charged with no insurance, dangerous driving, drink driving and failing to report a hit and run on January 20 th 2017. The pedestrian had three fractures to his right foot. Inspector Paul Kilcoyne said the defendant had ten previous convictions including hit and run but defending solicitor Mr Tom MacSharry said they were not related to his client. Judge Kilrane adjourned the case until April.
