Taster sessions at Ballymote Family Resource Centre

Ballymote Family Resource Centre is hoping to hold taster sessions for children from newborn babies to the age of school attending children in associatio­n with Brouhaha Drama Group.

This Taster session will involve puppets, storytelli­ng, song and dance and a range of social experience­s for all the children.

The taster session wwill take place on Wednesday, February 21st at 11am.

Parents must stay with children at all times.

Victoria Lee, who runs Brouhaha Drama Club says: “I aim to create a safe, creative and social experience for parents and children.

“All children from birth to those prior to starting school are welcome to partake.

“Benefits include social and co-operative awareness, creativity, physicalit­y, language and confidence.

“Importantl­y, this all takes place in a busy, fun session.”

Victoria Lee is qualified in childcare and previously ran a playschool.

She has a degree in drama and for the last few years has worked as a drama practition­er.
