BOIL WATER NOTICE
A Boil Water notice is in place in the Coolaney/Rockfield area till further notice. The notice has been issued for people served by the Lough Talt Regional Water Supply Scheme due to the detection of cryptosporidium in treated water. Irish Water has said it will be carrying out weekly sampling at several sites in the scheme. It said the notice will be lifted if there were sufficient clear samples over a number of weeks.

SENIORS ALERT SCHEME
The Seniors Alert Scheme alarm pendants are free and available for people over 65. The objective of the Seniors Alert Scheme (SAS) is to encourage community support for vulnerable older people in our communities through the provision of personal monitored alarms to enable older persons, of limited means, to continue to live securely in their homes with confidence, independence and peace of mind.
Funding is available under the scheme towards the purchase of personal alarm or pendant. Funding is made available by the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government. For an application form contact Cllr Dara Mulvey 087 6885050.
FORÓIGE CLUB

Skreen-Dromard Drama Group are taking to the stage in the Art Deco Theatre Ballymote on February 17 at 8 p.m. Doors open 7.30 p.m. with their Hilarious comedy ‘For Better, For Worse’ by the renowned playwright Jimmy Keary.
