Lissadell hosts tourism gathering

LISSADELL House and Gardens recently hosted the second gathering of over 120 tourism representatives from all over the countrylast week.

Hosted by Constance Cassidy and Eddie Walsh and supported by Sligo Business Improvement District, Sligo Tourism, Sligo Food Trail, Glasshouse Hotel, Radisson Blu and Sligo Park, the event was a successful showcase of the county with many of those visiting renewing their acquaintance with the beauty and cultural offering of Sligo.

Commenting on the event, Constance said: “We are delighted with the attendance at the event today, particularly with those who had not visited Sligo in the last ten years.

“Many of the operators have indicated that Sligo will now be included in future itineraries and it was a great opportunity for Sligo to work together as a team and present an excellent experience of Sligo to the industry.”
