Remanded for arraignment

A 25-year-old man charged with possessing child pornography has been remanded on bail to the next sittings of the Circuit Court on May 29 th when he will be arraigned. Conor Moyles of Linnet Lane, Kevinsfort, Sligo is charged with having eight images and 66 video files on a pc and laptop on January 24 th 2012. He appeared at the Circuit Court last week where prosecuting barrister, Dara Foynes BL said a second count may be added. The accused was represented by Mr Keith O’Grady BL instructed by Ms Laura Spellman, solicitor. Judge Keenan Johnson agreed to an application for a senior counsel to also represent the accused.
