ST Johns Academy - Under Age Coaching for Boys and Girls THE St Johns Underage Academy Coaching commenced last weekend Feb 17th and 18th . Until the end of March all sessions will be held indoors.

BOYS U7/8 Saturdays from 4-5pm and Boys U9/10Saturday 5-6pm; These will be held in The Sports Complex, Cleveragh Boys U11/12 Saturday from 3-4pm in The Tennis Club

GIRLS on Sunday U 7/8/9/10 from 4-5pm and U11/12/13/14 from 5-6pm both in the Sports Complex, Cleveragh

THESE coaching sessions are free for paid up members. If anybody else wants to come along, you can register at the session or contact Fergal on 0876760277 CLUB Mass Sunday Feb 18th THE annual club mass in memory of the deceased members and friends of St John’s GAA Club was held in St John’s Church, Carraroe on Sunday last. Thanks to Fr Jim for a lovely ceremony and to all the ladies who provided the catering in The Social Centre for the large crowd that attended. Our Minor team who won their minor league last year and our U12 Girls team were presented with their winners medals. A big thanks to the Chairman of Bord na nOg Fergal Kelly for his usual brilliant organising of the event.

THE Lotto numbers drawn in the last draw were 2, 3, 19, 22. There was no winner of the Jackpot prize of E 11,750. ST Johns Pitches Closed THE St Johns pitches in Cuilbeg are closed to all users for the next few weeks for urgent maintenanc­e works. THE monthly meeting will be held on Thursday 22/2/18 in the Units in Ballintogh­er at 9.15pm. Everyone welcome.

THE Lotto Numbers drawn this week were 17.21.24.31. There was no Jackpot winner or match 3 winner. ST. MOLAISE GAELS

THE Lotto Draw will take place on Tuesday next February 27th. Jackpot is now €1,200. INDOOR Coaching for our U10 Boys continues on Saturday morning at the North Sligo Sports Complex from 10.00am to 11.00am. COACHING sessions for our “Couch to 5K” Programme continue this week at the North Sligo Sports Complex with Group 1 running from 7.15pm to 8.15pm Monday and Wednesday. Group 2 are scheduled for 8.30pm to 9.30pm on the same evenings while Group 3 are out on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9.30am to 10.30am

OUR annual “Cash for Clobber” fundraiser is also underway . if you have any unwanted clothes or shoes they can be left at the Club Building at any time.

ST NATHY’S LADIES

ALL age groups will gradually be starting back over the coming weeks so if you want to play Gaelic football at any level please make contact with Louise on 087 6356679 who will direct you to the right team. Managers confirmed for the 2018 season are: U10 Louise O’Donnell, U12 Gerry Lee, U14 Paul Lavin, U16 Angela Doohan, and Senior John O’Hara.

FROM watching this young man growing up and playing in Tubbercurr­y we always knew that he had the ability to go far. Congratula­tions Liam Kerrigan our local star on donning the Irish Jersey. You’ve always given it your all for Tubbercurr­y GAA and your performanc­es for the u20 team in 2017 from the moment you entered the fray against Molaise Gaels in the QF to the final victory over Tourlestra­ne were exceptiona­l as have your performanc­es for St. Attractas. We wish you luck Liam in your future and remember you’ll always be welcome back in Tubbercurr­y GAA.

A Night At The OsKaRs.

THE club are organizing an informatio­n night for the OsKaRs on Monday the 26th of February in OC’s from 7:30pm.The production company will be attendance to answer any questions and to go through the whole procedure. So if you’v set your heart on becoming the next Saoirse Ronan or Colin Farrell this could be your big break. Or maybe your undecided; the producers say that by the end of the evening they will have won you over. All are welcome and please bring a friend. FUNDRAISIN­G.

AND so Tubbercurr­y GAA Park developmen­t Exec are in full swing with OsKaRs mania taking hold. THEY kick off their fundraisin­g with a car wash in McSorley’s Centra forecourt on the 24th of February from 10am to 4pm.

AND while you wait why not call into Roisin in Centra for a quick snack. Thanks in advance to McSorleys for the use of their car wash facilities. Please support. NEXT up will be a social dance in The Mayqueen on Saturday the 3rd of March where you can dance the night away to Caroline McLoughlin and band. All proceeds from the door will go towards the park developmen­t so thanks to The Mayqueen in advance.

EASTER Camp. CALLING all boys and girls from 6 years up to 14 years old in the South Sligo area. Tubber seniors are running a fun Easter camp on March 26th,27th and 28th from 10-2:30pm in Kilcoyne Park. A great way to kick off your Easter holidays.
