The Divine Order is a heartwarming and funny drama about the fight for votes for women in Switzerland in 1971.
It follows unassuming housewife Nora who makes a stand for change in a quiet village and runs up against some resistance. It’s a timely, character- driven stor y that shows the political is always the personal.
The event will also feature a screening Newport Gun Girls, Lauren Orme’s animated short about women who worked at a gun-producing factor y in Wales during WWII.
