IRISH SUMMER COURSES

Irish summer courses will take place in Banada during the summer. Junior cert course will take place July 23 to July 27 and Leaving cert course will take place July 30 to August 3. Call or text Siobhán for further details at 087 4510572.

EVENING CLASSES

Evening classes in St Attracta’s Community School: 1. Computers for complete beginners will take place on Tuesday, February 27 (a few spaces left) at 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. (for five Tuesdays, free but you must attend each week). 2. CAD – Computer Aided Design – (beginners) starting Tuesday, February 27 – 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. (€80 for seven weeks). Three. Woodwork (beginners) also on Tuesday, February 27, 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. €80 for seven weeks. BINGO

Bingo is played every Tuesday night at Banada Abbey. €1,700 guaranteed payout every night, full house €200 on flier game and €150 on last game. New 50: 50 draw each night. First game at 8.30 p.m.

The Aclare Community lotto is now €2,200. Tickets are available from Kennedy’s Supermarket, Aclare and from any ADC member.
