Man charged after Dublin drugs find
A Sligoman in his 30s has been charged arising out of a €300,000 cocaine find in Dblin at the week-end.
He was one of two men stopped by
Gardaí at Ballycoolin Blanchardstown at approximately
1:20pm last Saturday.
Their vehicle is understood to have been searched and 4kgs of cocaine was found.
The Sligoman was detained and questioned. The man’s home address in the Ballinode area of Sligo was subsequently searched under warrant by local Gardai. The man was brought before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court on Monday morning. He was charged with possession of cocaine and having the drug for the purpose of sale or supply.
He was released by the court on bail with a return court date set for May.
