Drugs possession charges

AT Sligo District Court Stephen O’Connor (22) of Raghallaigh Park, Cavan who concealed 100 grammes of cannabis (€2,000) in his trousers at Ard Nua Apartments, Ballinode was fined €600. Mr Edmund Henry represented.

Mr Henry said O’Connor has since turned his life around.

At the same court, Joshua McDonagh )(25) of Cranmore Drive was given the Probation Act for possession of €20 worth of cannabis herb.

Ms Laura Spellman represented. Mantas Trepkus (22) of Ox Crescent Tubbercurry was given the Probation Act for possession of €20 of cannabis herb. Ms Laura Spellman represented.
