Collooney Drama Group fundraise for Pieta House

-

FOLLOWING two successful nights in Collooney, the Collooney Drama Group will fundraise for both Pieta House and the North West Hospice with their production of ‘A Wake in The West’ in the community hall in Ballintogher this Saturday, March 24 th.

Collooney Village Redevelopment fund previously benefitted from the group’s previous two shows, but this time proceeds will go to Pieta House with raffle proceeds going towards the North West Hospice.

A Wake in the West is set in a small fishing village in the West of Ireland during the 1970’s and tells the story of the life and now the death of Tom Healy, who was fond of the drink and in the end it was probably his demise.
