Annual clean-up
THE Sligo Tidy Towns Annual Good Friday litter clean up will again take place this year on Friday 30 th March.
Apart from the regular litter picking volunteers, everyone is welcome to come along including young people, scouts groups etc.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. All will be kitted out with hand-held pickers, high visible jackets and refuse sacks.
The assembly point is again Stephen Street car park starting at 11am and finishing at 12:30pm. Team Leaders will direct small groups to various areas of the town.
There will be an opportunity to have a chat afterwards over a cup of tea/coffee and cake, kindly supplied by Cafe Fleur.
