Circuit training classes – The Benwiskin Centre – Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with Angel Fitness. Every week different exercise. Join any week. Pay as you go option available.

Join exercise classes for seniors with Angel fitness – every Monday from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the Benwiskin Centre. Exercises with swiss ball, basic step aerobic and exercise with a chair. Step aerobic classes – These classes offer a great range of benefits, such as fast calorie burning, intense workout, coordinati­on, flexibilit­y, build strong legs and feel great all day. TALK/FIELD TRIP

Natural History of Gleniff Horseshoe – Talk and Field Trip on Sunday, April 22, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. approx. Michael Bell of Sligo Branch, Bird.

Watch Ireland, will present an illustrate­d talk at 11 a.m. at the Benwiskin Centre on the wonderful wildlife to be found in the Gleniff Horseshoe area.

Tea and coffee will be served at the centre and the group can then car pool from the centre to the Gleniff Mill site at the base of the Gleniff Horseshoe drive for the guided field trip. You will need to bring a packed lunch and a flask.

This event is free but a nominal fee is welcome for refreshmen­ts. This project is funded under the Local Agenda Environmen­tal Partnershi­p Fund 2017 administer­ed by Sligo County Council. ‘A WAKE IN THE WEST’

Collooney Drama Group will host their play ‘A Wake in the West’ in Ballintogh­er Hall on March 24 at 8 p.m. Admission is €10 and all proceeds are going to the Ballintogh­er Skydive for Pieta House.

RURAL BUS SERVICE

Local Link – Killargue to Carrick on Shannon (Return): Service runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Departs Killargue (car park) at 9.25 a.m. Dromahair (Centra) at 9.35 a.m. Arrives in Carrick on Shannon (Bus Stop) at 10.50 a.m. Departs Carrick on Shannon (Bus Stop) at 1.20 p.m. – Dromahair at 2.45 p.m. – Killargue at 2.50 p.m.

Dromahair to Sligo on Fridays: 10.10 a.m. at McGoldrick­s arrive in Sligo 10.45. Returns at 13.00 to arrive Dromahair at 13.30.

EXERCISE WITH SUE

Killenumme­ry Women’s group are hosting Exercise with Sue on Thursday nights in Killenumme­ry Community hall at 7 p.m. Come along and go at your own pace. Creative writing class starting soon give Theresa a call at 086 1625287 to register your interest.

THE DEPOT

Anyone interested in a craft class: needle work, sewing, knitting or crochet Thursdays at 10 a.m. in the Depot; come along, bring needles and thread or wool. Turn something old into something new. Learn a new skill or practice skills learned but unused for some time. The class will be adapted to suit requiremen­ts.

Gardening classes starting in April, it will consist of some tunnel work, visits to gardens and flower beds and getting ideas on what might work best in different locations and lots of tips and advice from Carol. Contact the Depot to register interest.

Sue Top to Toe fitness runs on Monday and Wednesday 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. SPACES available on a Wednesday evening at present.. Please bring a mat or towel. (class content: A mix of exercises that target the entire body).

Parent and Toddler Group on Tuesdays 11 a.m. 1 p.m. Active Age group on Wednesday from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Green Dragon Karate Club with Michael on Friday evening 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Depot Office is now open Monday to Friday morning from 9.45 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. We offer a full range of office services. Photocopyi­ng, typing, printing, laminating and internet access. All services available at very reasonable rates.
