Well done to Ben Clavin, first in the mixed distance relay 800m under-14, Jack Clavin, second in the mixed distance relay 400m under-12 and Barry Clavin, third in the under-16 Marathon. The three brothers will represent the area and county at the national finals at the end of May in UL Limerick.

Good luck to the following who take part in the Art Count Finals on March 24 in Ballymote NS: Riyad Munir, Colin Kerins, Barry McGowan, Maya Jean Gormalley, Ciara Glesson, Anna Hosey, Kayleigh Henry and Michaela McGowan. The following take part in the swimming finals on Tuesday, March 27: Eoin Mulkeen, Kenneth Coleman, Niamh Severs and Muireann Henry.

PHOTO/HISTORY EXHIBITION

The local committee are planning another photo and history exhibition later in the year following on from the huge success of the 2017 event. All photos relating to the parish from community events, church events, sport, workplace, schools, people, locations etc are all welcome. Coolaney-Mullinabre­ena GAA Coaching continues for the under-six, under-eight and under-10 age groups in the Teeling Centre Collooney on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. New children are always welcome to join the fun filled sessions supervised by our fully trained coaches. The Coolaney-Mullinabre­ena GAA 2018 lotto tickets are available now from any committee member. This is the principal fundraiser for the day to day running of the club and your continued support is greatly ap- preciated. The jackpot stands at €5,600.

DOG OWNERS NOTE

Dog owners are reminded to tie up their dogs at night. A number of farmers in the area has had their sheep worried by dogs in the past number of weeks.
