Returned for Circuit Court trial

AT Sligo District Court on Thursday, Brendan Glynn, with an address at Strandhill Road, Sligo was sent forward for trial at Sligo Circuit Court on May 29 th. The 31-year-old is charged with possession of a realistic imitation firearm on October 26 th 2017 at Coyles Centra, Cartron and on the same date having a knife and robbing €900 from Martin McGovern. State Solicitor Ms Elisa McHugh said the Book of Evidence was ready and he was returned for trial at the next sitting of Sligo Circuit Court. She said that Glynn will go forward in custody. Mr Patrick O’Sullivan BL represented him.

Also at the same court, a 23-year-old man was also returned for trial at Sligo Circuit Court on May 29 th. Connor McAuley, with an address at Swanlinbar, Skea Arney, Enniskillen is charged with assault causing harm to Enda Fowley at the Garavogue Bar on December 27 th 2016. He was represented by Mr Mark Mullaney (solicitor).
