Rents on the rise

IN the October-December period of last year (Q4) the average rent in County Sligo for newly registered properties with the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) was €789. This is up €116 or 17.7 % when compared to the average rent in Q3, 2017, which was €673. On an annual basis the average new rent is up €178 when compared to a year earlier, in Q4, 2016. The national average rent for new tenancies was €1,054 per month, up from €990 one year earlier.
