Sligo/Leitrim U13s in National semi-finals

THE Sligo/Leitrim under 13 representative squad qualified for the national semi-finals in sensational fashion after they netted a last minute goal to beat the Inishowen League on Monday last.

Knowing only a six goal win would send them through, a determined Sligo/Leitrim outfit cruised into a four goal lead. All four were netted by the same player, Sam Touhy. Ronan Niland made it five before the vital sixth was slotted home by Luke Mavrak in the last minute. The boys now face the winners of the Munster group.

The game will take place over the weekend of May 5th/6th.
