Sligo Live will host the l egendar y Don McLean for a concert on Bank Holiday Sunday night, 3rd June 2018 in the Knocknarea Arena at IT Sligo. This will be the American artist’s fir st ever Sligo appearance. Tickets for the all-seated show are on sale priced at €49.50 + s.c. The talented singer-songwriter rose to international fame on massive hits like Vincent (Starr y, Starr y Night), American Pie, And I Love You So and Castles In The Air, all of which were some of the greatest hits in the histor y of popular music. He is a regular performer, touring North America, Europe and Asia and earning rave reviews from press and fans alike. His Sligo performance is part of a major Irish Tour.

Texan singer/songwriter, Jarrod Dickenson will be his special guest. Hailing from Waco, now based in Nashville via Brooklyn, Jarrod Dickenson spends most of his time on the road bringing his own particular brand of soulful Americana to a wide variet y of music l oving audiences around the globe. Stor y telling is something of a Texas tradition.

Tall hats and even taller tales are woven into the fabric of The Lone Star State, and the singer-songwriter, Dickenson, can spin a yarn with the best of them.
