The life of mules

Film, Khacchad Mule, a free event as part of the North Leitrim Glens Walking Festival takes place on March 31st at 8pm. The feature length documentar y film by Michael Brown is a portrait of the li ves of mules and the diverse communities that make their li ving with them. Filmed over the course of a year, it follows the li ves of mules from their breeding in Northern India, their sale at the huge annual Barabanki equine fair, their work in the brick factories of the Kathmandu Valley, and finally carr ying goods into the high Himalayas.
