No major Footpath repairs

Only“absolutely necessary” repairs will be made to footpaths around Sligo town until a new Footpath Condition App is released.

Council officials told Councillors Tom MacSharr y and Gino O’Boyle that they had no plans to make major repairs/ replacements of footpaths in the Urban area other than repairs necessary from a “safety perspective .”

Cllr MacSharr y had asked for the footpaths in Oakfield Park Estate to be repaired, while Cllr O’Boyle had asked for pavement repairs in St Anne’s Terrace.
