Free Sunday Parking

COUNCILLOR Marie Casserly has called on the Council to clearly advertise ‘Free Parking on Sunday’ at the entrance to every public car park and at parking meters.

“It’s very important when we’re trying to encourage visitors to come to Sligo. It’s very important that word gets out there, particularly about free Sunday parking,” Cllr Casserly told the meeting. She was supported by Cllrs Chris MacManus and Tom MacSharry who suggested signs indicating free Sunday parking be considered at the entrance to Sligo town.
