Pro-abortion criticism of TDs

Dear Editor,

The criticism by pro-abortion activists and by some commentators of the 32 TDs who voted against the bill to Repeal the Eighth Amendment begs the question, if the current referendum bill proposed to remove the right to vote from women instead of removing the right to life of unborn babies, would they consider TDs who voted against such an inequitable proposal to have voted against democracy? I doubt it.
