Ballymote playground re-opens
Ballymote’s playground has re-opened following refurbishment works.
“Ballymote, Ballinacarrow, Riverstown and Dromore West playgrounds all received funding last year to carry out small repairs.
“The issue was in getting staff rostered from the Council to visit the playgrounds weekly as required for health and safety” Councillor Keith Henry from Ballymote said.
Both Riverstown and Ballincarrow playgrounds reopened earlier this month, while “Dromore West playground requires some cleaning and will be re-opened by the end of next week,” says Councillor Dara Mulvey.
Ballymote’s playground is an essential amenity for children living in the area, as are playgrounds in Riverstown, Ballinacarrow and Dromore West.
