LOTTO DRAW

The Geevagh Community Resource lotto draw was held in Shivnan’s Bar on Saturday, March 25, for a jackpot of €2,300. The numbers drawn were 3, 12, 17 and 21. There was no winner. The next draw for a jackpot of €2,400 will be held on Saturday, March 31, in Conlon’s Bar. The winners of the €20 prizes were Michael Kerrigan, c/o Shivnan’s; Ronan McManus, Arigna; Helen Maher, Geevagh; Nigel O’Grady, Geevagh and Paul Nangle, Geevagh.

HISTORICAL TALK

Tirerrill Historical Society host author and Historian Prin Duignan, who will give a talk on renowned priest Fr Tom Maguire, who was born in Co Fermanagh in the late 1700s and is buried in Templeport, Co Cavan.
