Sligo For LIfe posters ‘taken down’

A group campaigning for the retention of the Eighth Amendment has claimed many of its posters have been deliberately taken down in Sligo over the week-end.

Sligo For Life says it began poster- ing Last week but that three quarters of them have been pulled down.

“We have reported this to the Garda Siochana for investigation. Our Posters are straightforward and explain the Truth that one in five Babies in Britain have their lives ended via Abortion,” said a spokesperson. The group has asked the general public to report to the Gardaí any sightings of these posters being pulled down.
