Club draws are made
THE draws have been held for the 2018 Senior, Intermediate and Junior Club Championships.
The draw took place in the Belfry on Friday evening. There are many brilliant clashes to look forward to this year.
In the Belfry Senior Club Championship, there are four teams in Group 1.
These are Eastern Harps, Tubbercurry, Coolaney/Mullinabreena and St Mary’s.
The first round sees Easten Harps playing Tubbercurry, while Coolaney/Mullinabreena face St Mary’s.
In round 2, Eastern Harps play Coolaney/Mullinabreena with Tubbercurry hosting St Mary’s.
Round 3 sees Eastern Harps playing St Mary’s with Tubbercurry welcoming Coolaney/Mullinabreena.
The three teams in Group 2 are St Molaise Gaels, Coolera/Strandhill and Drumcliffe/Rosses Point.
In Round 1 St Molaise Gaels play Coolera/Strandhill with round 2 seeing Coolera/Strandhill taking on Drumcliffe/Rosses Point. Round 3 sees St Molaise Gaels face Drumcliffe/Rosses Point. In Group 3 it’s Tourlestrane, St John’s and Calry/St Joseph’s. The first round sees Tourlestrane taking on St John’s while the second round sees St John’s playing Calry St Joseph’s. In Round 3 Tourlestrane play Calry/St Joseph’s in the final match..
The quarter finals will be the first from Group 2 taking on the third from Group 1, the 2nd from Group 1 playing the 2nd from Group 3 with the 1st from Group 3 playing the 2nd from Group 2.
The relegation semi final sees the 4th in Group 1 taking on the 3rd in Group 3. The relegation final will be the 3rd in Group 2 and the relegation semi final loser.
The draws were also held for the Kennedys Intermediate club championship. The teams in Group 1 are Ballymote, Shamrock Gaels, Curry and Geevagh. The first round sees Ballymote play Shamrock Gaels with Curry taking on Geevagh. Round 2 sees Ballymote take on Curry with Shamrock Gaels playing Geevagh.
In Round 3 Ballymote play Geevagh with Shamrock Gaels taking on Curry. Group 2 of the Kennedys Intermediate championship is St Michael’s, St Farnan’s and Bunninadden.
The first round sees St Michael’s playing St Farnan’s, with St Farnan’s and Bunninadden meeting in round 2. Round 3 sees Bunninadden and St Michael’s playing each other. Castleconnor, Enniscrone/Kilglass and St Patrick’s all west Sligo teams make up Group 3. In Round 1 Castleconnor play Enniscrone/Kilglass while in Round 2 Enniscrone/ Kilglass meet St Patrick’s. Round 3 is the meeting of St Patrick’s and Castleconnor. The quarterfinal draw us 2nd Group 1 V 2nd Group 2; 1st Group 2 V 2nd Group 3 and 1st Group 3 V 3rd Group 1.
The Relegation Draw Semi Final is 4th Placed Team Group 1 V 3rd Placed Team Group 3 and the Relegation Final 3rd Placed Team Group 2 V Relegation Semi Final Loser.
In the Lola Montez Junior Championship Group 1 includes Easkey, Eastern Harps and St Mary’s. Round 1 sees Easkey playing Eastern Harps with Round 2 seeing Eastern Harps take on St Mary’s. Round 3 is the meeting of St Mary’s and Easkey.
Cloonacool, Curry and St Molaise Gaels are in Group 2. Round 1 sees Cloonacool play Curry, Round 2 is Curry playing St Molaise Gaels with Round 3 seeing St Molaise Gaels taking on Cloonacool.
Owenmore Gaels, Tourlestrane and Shamrock Gaels are in Group 3. Round 1 sees Owenmore Gaels meeting Tourlestrane,
Round 2 is Tourlestrane taking on Shamrocl Gaels with Round 3 seeing Shamrock Gaels and neighbours Owenmore Gaels meeting. The Quarterfinal Draw sees 2nd Placed Team V 2nd Placed Team and 2nd Placed Team v 1st Placed Team.
The Semi final Draw is Quarterfinal Winner V 1st Placed Team and Quarterfinal Winner V 1st Placed Team.
